As a traveler, Robyn McClendon, is inspired by her many adventures that inform her creative process. An avid collector, Robyn is able to find inspiration in the most common of found objects; a rusted spiral of wire, an unusual shaped rock, a forgotten scrap of paper. What does all of all of this have to do with jewelry? The answer is simple; color, texture and form. "Many of my ideas for color combinations come from found objects which posses unique color hues that have been aged by the elements, they become colors that are fluid and indefinable."

Robyn searches flea markets, estate sales or just about any offbeat place, the world over,
to find unusual elements for her designs as well as the inspiration that comes from looking at the past. The attention to detail and design ideas from things long forgotten with textures that can only come from being handled for years. "My travels have contributed to me creating a line of jewelry that may remind the admirer of old world bohemian luxury, casual opulence or a "bombed-out villa." Boluxe incorporates a "Bohemian Luxury: aesthetic in its design signature.

The BoLuxe Jewelry Line, with its one of a kind and limited edition pieces which are akin to fine art with a classical elegance and global ethno-chic appeal. "My design direction is to elevate
the statue of exotic yet common materials by linking them with beautiful pearls and faceted cut semi-precious stones."

"I believe that jewelry should be worn to enhance the natural features of a woman. It should be selected carefully with attention to color and texture. Enjoyment comes from looking and feeling beautiful. Beauty is maximized when it is an internal experience."

"Always be aware of the inner self beauty that is real and lasting"
